Aamir Khan to head to Delhi for month-long shoot in February

Aamir Khan, Vikrant Massey, and Naseeruddin Shah are set to film their respective projects in Delhi next month. While Khan will be stationed in Delhi for an extensive 30-day shoot for his upcoming project, "Champion," Massey and Shah have shorter schedules. The decision to film in Delhi during this period is noteworthy, as the peak winter season presents challenges with extreme cold and limited daylight hours, making shoots more demanding and costly.

"Champion" marks Aamir Khan's return after a hiatus following the setback of his project, "Laal Singh Chaddha" (2022). The film, directed by RS Prasanna, revolves around the human spirit, with Khan portraying the role of a mentor. The shooting plan includes capturing various facets of Delhi, and while specific locations are still under consideration, the filming is expected to encompass different areas of the city.

Apart from Khan, Vikrant Massey and Naseeruddin Shah will also be in Delhi for shorter shoot schedules, each working on separate projects over three or four days. This follows a trend from the previous year, where Delhi served as a backdrop for various film projects featuring stars such as Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Sonu Sood, Sidharth Malhotra, Ananya Panday, and Janhvi Kapoor.
